OECD Global Forum, 17-18 February
Next month, the 10th OECD Global Forum on Competition will be held at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris on 17-18 February. The Forum will focus on Cross-Border Merger Control and Crisis Cartels. Czech Conference Materials
In November, the Office for the Protection of Competition of the Czech Republic hosted its St. Martin Conference focusing on recent trends and developments in competition law and policy. Speaker presentations on topics including due process and economics are available here.
EU’s Competition Day on “Private Enforcement”
A Competition Day on ‘Private Enforcement’ was organised in October under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union. Representatives of consumers and industry, judges, the European Commission and competition practitioners exchanged views on the compensation of damages for breach of competition rules in the European Union. Sweden’s Seminar on Standard Setting
“The Pros and Cons of Standard Setting” was the theme of the Swedish Competition Authority’s international seminar in Stockholm on 12 November 2010.
