The Irish Competition Authority has an ongoing  ‘Competition Enforcers Series’ of seminars. The purpose of the Competition Enforcers Series  is to analyse the impact and the need for rigorous enforcement of competition policy on a global scale to overcome the current crises and promote growth and innovation. The speakers at the most recent seminar on 23 May entitled ‘Global Co-operation in Competition Enforcement’ were Marcus Bezzi, the Executive General Manager of the Enforcement and Compliance Division at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and Ana Maria Melo Netto, from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice.
