Following on the success of the merger remedies program last month, the second ICN teleseminar in our two-part series on remedies will be presented by the Unilateral Conduct Working Group on Thursday, March 11 from 8 to 9.30 EST. Remedies in dominance cases cover a spectrum, from prohibitory remedies designed to stop and prevent recurrence of the unlawful conduct to remedies that impose affirmative obligations (such as mandating access), to structural remedies, which can require divestiture of assets or lines of business. This program will present two hypothetical violations and remedies, and invite discussion by members and NGAs about their experience with different kinds of remedies and their relative advantages and drawbacks. All ICN members and NGAs are welcome to participate. Dial in numbers will be circulated on Friday, March 5. For more information, contact Cynthia Lagdameo at clagdameo@ftc.gov.
