Celebrating its first anniversary, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) recently organized an international conference on ‘Innovation in Oversight, Oversight and Innovation.’ Attendees included representatives from the corporate sector, government, academia and other regulators from around the world. Update: NMa + NCA + OPTA = ACM
The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) will be the new name for the merged authority created by the combination of the Netherlands Consumer Authority, the Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority of the Netherlands (OPTA), and the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa).
Compliance with Competition Laws in the Netherlands
The Netherlands Competition Authority has released a study examining company compliance with its merger and cartel rules based on a survey of companies and advisers. The full report is available on the website of the NMa. An English version will follow.
